See All ReviewsI visited in December while in town for the holidays with my parents, my husband, and my 10-year-old son. We stopped in during posted business hours to order sandwiches, but no one was inside. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter. When an older woman finally came through the door, she immediately told us they were closing and said, “If you wanted something, you should have come earlier.” My mother and I apologized and politely asked if we could quickly purchase a pecan pie that was sitting in the bakery case. Instead of simply saying no, she continued raising her voice and told us she had to go home to see her family and repeated that we should have come earlier. When I calmly told her we understood but that there was no need to be rude, she escalated the situation and told us to “get out,” in front of my parents and my young son. The most shocking part? We later found out that the woman yelling at us was actually the owner. Basic courtesy and professionalism should be expected at any business, especially from the owner. Unfortunately, this experience was incredibly disappointing and not how customers should be treated. We will not be returning.
As someone visiting from out of state to spend time with family, I was looking forward to getting a Cuban sandwich. The lady had the worse attitude towards my mother and refused to serve us, turns out she's the owner. This was very disappointing and very unprofessional.
I go here whenever I need great produce. Farm to table ya know. Cubans are great inside too!!!
